We are now very pleased to be able to offer you the PowerBoat Level 1 and PowerBoat Level 2 courses.These courses can be completed in 1 or 2 days during your visit in Gran Canaria.We offer a maximum of 3 students per course, this allows us to give you a more one to one experience.
RYA Powerboat Level 1
Provides a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats. It covers boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. The course may be conducted in a variety of boat types, both planing and displacement, and the certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place. A one day introduction to Powerboating with no previous experience required.

CONTENT
Launch and recovery (8-11 year olds to observe), preparation of boat and crew, boat handling, picking up and securing to a mooring buoy, leaving and coming alongside, man overboard (theory).
IMPORTANT

RYA Powerboat Level 2
Get to grips with the basics and learn how to master the waves with this two-day entry level course.
Provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations. The course can be taken at an inland or coastal location. It may be conducted in a variety of boat types, both planing and displacement. The certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place.

The Centre
The centre will provide waterpoof clothing and drinks (water, tea or coffe).
WHAT DO I BRING?
Wear casual outdoor clothing with non marking shoes and bring a tasty picnic packed lunch & drinks with you each day along with a passport sized photograph for your final photo certificate issued upon successful completion of the course.

Bookings
Bookings will be deemed definite once the terms and conditions are accepted. Terms and conditions are accepted as soon as a completed booking form has been received. The form can be send by email or WhatsApp.
Confirmation
The Centre will confirm the booking by email or WhatsApp.
Payment
Payment
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required(when booking in advance),the rest amount will be paid on the starting Date at the Centre.
Cancellation/Delay/Non Arrival
If you are likely to be delayed beyond the start of your course, please inform us as early as possible.
In the event of cancellation by the client, deposits and fees are not refundable when the cancellation is within last 48h. Isla Breeze Training Centre will not be responsible for any other cost (hotels ,flights,etc) we recommend you to have your own travel insurance.
If Isla Breeze Training Centre CANCEL, all course payments made or course fees will be fully refunded, Isla Breeze Training Centre will not be responsible for any other cost (hotels ,flights,etc) we recommend you to have your own travel insurance.
JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
We are located at the exclusive Marina of Pasito Blanco in the South of Gran Canaria.
You can find our location just typing on Google Maps (Isla Breeze Training Centre).
if you are coming by bus you will need to get the bus number 01 and get off at Pasito blanco marina bus stop. if you are arriving by car, you must say at the security barrier that you are coming to Isla Breeze so you will be able to park inside for free.
We will meet you outside the Spar Supermarket,located alonside the Shipyard.
